What type of live plants for my 25g aquarium?

I have two powder blue dwarf gourami's in my 25g aquarium at the moment and was wondering what type of live plant is best for them to feed off of.

Thanks in advance!
Just some nibbles.. incase one of them doesn't get feed or they would like a snack. Not a full course meal.
Could I put a thin slice of cucumber in their tank? Will they eat it for nutrients..?

something like cabomba or egeria densa would be good for them to nibble on. i've found that most fish eat cucumberif you put a slice in the tank but i've never tried it with gouramis so i can't be sure.

hope that helps :)

They aren't going to eat any plant. Wisteria will work well for you.

there is this plants with massive leaves and they have white stripes on them (forgotten the name) they would love it as a snack, i use it in my tank and they last quite a while because of there size but the fish love to nibble on them. cucumber is good, but i would go zikini over cucumber, much more healthier for the fish! hope i helped!

I think any fish will eat Elodea plant. You can plant it or let it float at the top. Its a good plant for oxygenating the water.

Errrm . . . many keepers don't like their fish chewing on their plants, lol, but fish will generally go for most plants (and it's Murphy's Law that they'll go for your favourite anyway). Just go for cheaper plants like Elodea and Wisteria that are cheap enough to replace. Java fern and the anubias family are a bit tough and apparently don't taste too good, because the fish tend to leave them alone.

The chances are, as long as the fish aren't looking thin, they'll be getting enough food. Just watch for them eating and still losing weight (internal parasites).
